Our Story
At Anderson & Link Whiskey Company, we are more than just a whiskey brand; we are a testament to friendship, shared passions, and a profound respect for history. Founded by two best friends and veterans, Curtis Link and Jon Anderson, our mission is to revive the bold flavors of traditional American rye whiskey, crafting exceptional spirits that honor the past while embracing innovation.
Colorado Whiskey Brands
Our journey began with a shared love for whiskey and a desire to bring back the robust character of rye whiskey's golden era. Curtis and Jon’s combined experiences and dedication have culminated in the creation of Anderson & Link Whiskey Company, a brand that stands as a proud representative of the best in Colorado whiskey brands.

Our Leadership
Curtis Link:
A Life of Service and Dedication
Curtis Link, a retired Army veteran with a background in military intelligence, embodies discipline, precision, and unwavering dedication. His commitment to excellence led him to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s in Craft Whiskey from the prestigious Whiskey University. Growing up in rural Oregon instilled in Curtis a deep appreciation for community and the importance of giving back, particularly in support of fellow veterans—a cause close to his heart.
Curtis was born and raised in rural Oregon, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep connection to nature. Growing up in a tight-knit community, he learned the importance of self-reliance and supporting those around him. At 18, he answered a calling to serve and enlisted in the Army, where a distinguished military career helped shape his leadership, character, and sense of mission.
After retiring from service, Curtis earned a business degree from Grand Canyon University in 2016, further sharpening his leadership skills for the next chapter in his life. Today, he is a passionate advocate for veterans—dedicating his time to organizations that support those who have served. His unwavering commitment to service, community, and excellence laid the foundation for launching Anderson & Link Whiskey Company. Here, he channels his love of history, his entrepreneurial drive, and his dedication to craft into every bottle of single malt rye.
Jon Anderson:
A Man of Exploration and Precision
Jon Anderson hails from the heart of Texas, where he cultivated a love for history and exploration. As a surveyor specializing in drones and 3D lidar mapping, Jon possesses a keen eye for detail and a passion for blending technology with tradition. His appreciation for authenticity and heritage fuels the creativity behind every bottle of whiskey the duo produces.
Curtis's lifelong friend and co-founder, grew up in Houston, Texas. From a young age, he was captivated by the past. His obsession with history—how people lived, what they fought for, and the stories they left behind—formed the basis for his analytical mind and thirst for knowledge. After school, Jon’s career took him across the country working in the oil and gas industry, where he learned the value of hard work, field innovation, and adaptability.
He later earned his commercial drone pilot's license, specializing in cutting-edge 3D LIDAR mapping and surveying, merging precision technology with hands-on expertise. Jon’s background in exploration, engineering, and storytelling now serves as a driving force behind the creation of authentic, history-rich spirits at Anderson & Link.
Together, Curtis and Jon envisioned a whiskey that would honor the rebellious spirit of early American rye. Aged for 4–7 years in Longmont, Colorado, their spirits reflect the natural elements of the region—pure water, dry climate, and high altitude—making them one of the standout Colorado whiskey brands on the market today.
